hey how much lift do you have on that 4 runner, always broken. I have a 3'' suspension and 3' lift but it doesnt look like 6'' lift. I dont know do you have any suggestions how i can get more lift for tire clearance i need to fit 35's with some space.

I'm running about 7" of lift with very little finder trimming in the rear.. When i four link the rear i will lower it 2" and cut more body.

i have a 3'' suspension and 3'' body do you think 35 boggers will fit comfotably? If i put a shackle lift on do you think that will give me enough clearance? What size tires do you have on your 4runner?

Your probably good, but your front tires might rub a little on the inside corner of your fenders.
Looking for 35s in SLO later summer time, like august.  Swapping Tires??

oh wow, I'm in love, I hope my runner looks that nice someday, very clean looking rig, 1 turtle point for you, and if I don't mind could you give us some more up close shots of that supsension, I just can't get over how nice it is.  It looks like you are running a TJ style front suspension, is it the Rubicon express kit?  Since you said you rolled your jeep I'm assuming that you just grafted the front suspension off of your jeep and placed it under the runner.

i still cant get over how nice your rig is. yours and crawlerdans are my favorites on this site. Also how hard was it getting the jeep suspension to work well on your yota?

gotrocks

I'm thinking of converting my front suspension soon to a linked setup and I will be copying the rockkrawlers setup I had on my Jeep.  Seeing yours makes me wish I would've kept my axles somtimes, I had a Dynatrac 44 front and HP60 rear with arb's and 5.13 gears.  Again Very nice 4runner.  Still would love to see some more pictures of it. ARe you gointo link the rear soon or is it already and I just missed it?

alwaysbroken

The hardest part was aligning up the axle, other than that it was easy switch to everything just a couple of tabs for the arms, and the panhard bar.
Also A new t-100 oil pan to clear everything. It's going to be linked in the rear  by summer time.

keep us posted on that, do you use your Airshox much on the road.  I've heard they are not recommended because they can over heat to fast travel they experience from street driving.  Just wondering what you thought about them

alwaysbroken

The air shocks are not bad on the road when i link the rear i will have to run a swaybar, I take my runner out to the local
sanddunes( Glamis, Domont, Pismo) and they done great. Ready for a set on the rear

the reason I'm asking about how they air shock work is that I've been told that I can't use them if the rig is going to be used as a DD or driven at any speed because of safety and the shocks start to loose their rebound speed if they are used at faster speeds.  I don't see why they wouldn't work, like you said you've used them at glamis and they worked fine for you.  If I run them I want to have a onboard nitro tank so that I can remote control them from inside the cab.  Have you ever thought of doing that to your rig?

alwaysbroken

I thought about carring another tank but no room, i have a co2 tank so if i have to i can put air into them until
i can use nitrogen. They have been on there 4 months, 5 wheeling trips and no problems.
