Thinking about selling the Supra motor in my 4runner...
« on: Jan 04, 2006, 09:54:26 AM »
Wanting to switch to a small block, whole motor has been rebuilt with ALL Toyota parts, you get everything except the wiring harness (cant get it out due to the cage) you need to put it in a 22r p/u or 4runner. Radiator/ bell housing/ throttle cable/ whatever. If you need a harness I have a Toy tech here that did mine that could do you one for your truck. It came out of an 86 I believe. It is the 12 valve 6M (5M jap spec motor)

In the Birmingham, Alabama area.
$800 firm

Also includes the tranny, which I won't need anymore.

Bump.

Motor's still in truck, plan on leaving it in there till I sell it so the buyer can test drive/ compression test/ oil pressure test or whatever.

Ok, here's the deal... If SOMEBODY doesn't buy this friggin motor you guys are gonna force me and my buddy to do something really dumb...

We have a spare set of full width Chevy axles at the shop, A complete 92 P/U, and alot of tube... Don't make us combine all this mess and create the ultimate budget build tube chassis!

We've already thought of a name, the "hokey chassis" :joke: I'm talkin' pedal and brake assemblies out of that 92, 4 links front and rear with bushing mounts top and bottom, take off XJ coils..... About the only thing we'll buy is a good set of tires...

I think it would be fun... :ha_ha:
