I have been having a hell of a time getting all my solid axle stuff put together and ready to weld under. Sooo if I wont be ready for sure I wont start cutting. I'll just run my IFS. But, dont worry, I'm going to try like hell to get that SA under there. This is going to be a fun run.

Bull crap, I don't want to here any excuses.  I only live 30 mins. from you and my welder is not held up. I have cutting torches and air, to hell with wrenching. It will be a cake walk tarring and that IFS out if your not trying to save it for anything.

Yep... it is true the Jeep has gone to a new home. A pretty cool lady from Pasadena bought it. She's friends with some of the Tinbenders. Nuttin' but da Runner to play in now. Speaking of playing..... I'm in for next weekend as well as a few (?? 3 - 8 Toyota's ??) buddies of mine for sure. We might get up there before you guys though. we ususally run ch. 13 up there.

 about how long is it going to take to do the trail

sidewall2000

Hard to say. There have been times where we have made the tower in an hour. And times we've not made it in 8 hours..... denied!! There has not been any real snow since we made it up this last weekend ... so it should be doable for most rigs pretty easily. If we get any decent new accumulation before then the narrow tired rigs will have fun workin' it to the top. The only thing for sure is there will be snow and a lot of fun for all!!!!!

Is there any chance you could trailer it (bring the parts) to Fresno? I am sure there a few people that can offer their garage for the repair!! Hell I'll offer mine up, I live a mile and a half from Starbucks were we're all meeting. If you don't have the parts you could even prearrange (sp?) the parts from Marlin. I could pick them up for you anyday after work.

I will be coming up from Visalia and meeting at Starbucks. I only have 32s, but I can air them down a lot on my narrow wheels. I have all the necessary recovery gear besides a winch and I don't mind being on the end of a strap. I've run this trail and I've snow wheeled, but never this trail in the snow.

Hey you guys don't mind if an old man tags along do ya?

There are some places where you can boogie if ya got the hankerin'. There are several places that you can leave the beaten path and shoot what ever direction you want and still "meet us at the pass". Really depends on the snow though.:driving:

Wow there is a lot of rigs going... Awesome.

I got some bad news. Today while snow wheelin, my truck just doesnt idle anymore. Its doing the same thing as last time. Last time the problem just corrected itself. Im hoping that before then it will fix it, but if I cant I dont know if I will make it in my truck. Ill try and fix it... No, I will fix it.

For all who is going, post that you ARE FOR SURE GOING. Then we can get a head count so we can post it up

My junk runs poorly right now too! Sometimes 3 cylinders... sometimes four.... haven't really had the time to look for it yet. I just know once I get the damn ting up the hill I'm ok.... it's just getting there that sucks.

The Wife and I FO SHO. LPG is done, Heater should be here tomorrow and will find it's way in the next day or two. Hopefully I'll have the time to finally get the back tires grooved, if not oh well. John H is out, he's got to help finish a buddies buggy. I'm trying to round up a few more guys tho.

It'll be cool to see Dale in that monster again. That thing is a tank in the snow.
