Well finished the wiring on the cruiser tonight, so this may be a good trip to be on. Nothing like a spring under ring to kill all hopes of making time. So where are those who are trailering meeting, i have a date with the DMV on the 23rd but if i miss something it's gonna be trailered. Gotta show Freds40 what his old rig can do, since after the con it decided it should be our campfire. if i can get some tube bent i should be there though with only the rear welded the front is gonna be hurtin. We'll see if the fj likes the last part of bald where it burnt the last time. Hopefully all works out

Well, I'd like to go, but I've got to work 8-2 that saturday. I'm the only mechanic in auberry on duty that weekend, so if you guys have a break down, here's some helpful numbers:

855-2516- Napa (right at the end of SJ&E road, near the bottom of the four lanes)

855-3700- Car Quest (In prather, right off of 168)

855-2940- Cliffside Auto (me) On the corner of auberry and frazier road. We're a full line shop, and should be able to help you with any thing you need, with in reason.

841-2727- Eagle towing, (my boss also owns this company) Located right off of dinky creek road in shaver. If you need these guys I hope you have AAA.

i have some steering shaft issues right now, hitting the frame while flexing after the installation of the GM column. Hopefully my front tube work will stiffen it enough to not hit we'll see. My girl doesn't know how much she wants to go so we'll see, she said something about a heater being necessary . I plan on trailering either way. Drove the rig out of the shop today so i have two weeks to get this thing finalized, a lot of new stuff on it.

By the way who knows a place maybe like 10-15 min from the fresno area just to test my 40 out things like a place to flex, hop it around, crawl a little. Don't think snow is the place to do that.

36 x 16.5 x 16.5 Cepeks (1 psi) for the snow. They'll get ya to the top if locked and geared. Mtr's have been working really well on Bald too.

I  have a  question one of my friends keeps on bugging. he wants to come on the snow run do you think he could come along with us in his 1998 tacoma TRD 4x4 with an e-locker and 31' bfg all terrains

Have straps...... will travel. If your buddy doesn't mind being on the back end of a strap several times he'd have a reat time too. Does he have aluminum or steel wheels? If he has steel he might be able to air down enough to keep up most of the time.
