Topic: What's everybodys opinion on an ebay section?

Every now and then I run across something on ebay, beit a truck or truck parts, that's either not nearby or just something I can't afford right now, but I know somebody on here is close.  So I keep wanting to post up the auctions here so that somebody else has a chance, and assuming a lot of you don't check ebay very often.  I've seen some smokin deals on there that I would have liked to see a board member be able to jump on, so maybe this is the way to do it, rather than clogging up another section with auction posts and such.  So what's everybody's opinion?  Is this something we should put past bigmike and see if he'll work it into the site?  I currently have several worth posting up, and if we had a section devoted to just ebay auctions it would be easier and less confusing for people to keep up on as there would be a different thread for each auction.  Sounds good to me but I know he's a busy guy, sooooooo........

Yea, that's what I thought too.  I've been mullin it over for a while, but just today I came across a few items I couldn't buy, or don't necessarily need, but others on here probably could do.  2 37" mtrs, 4 37" boggers, etc, etc.....

great idea.....i check ebay everyday for Toyota and find great deals as well...but never have money.  I'm sure others would like to be clued in

Yea, but what I'm saying Kyota, is that several posts a day (potentially) would totally clog up chit chat, and if you had a devoted section then it would be out of harms way.  Nobody would hafta see it if they didn't want to.  I have another idea, but I'll wait and see what the bigman says.

I am totally supportive of an eBay section, just call it online bidding section for copyright reasons or is it a big deal? Not many people will post unless they see an ebay section and that will get them to search for the best stuff, like a treasure hunt.

we used to post ebay finds in the sale section, but people thought you were the one selling and it got retarded. anyone been here long enough to remember the tow straps? I still get PMs asking if I still have them for sale

How bout instead of an Ebay section we go with an ebay THREAD.  Any Ebay referrals can go into a designated Ebay Thread I know I don't wanna see "see this on Ebay" and "found this on Ebay" all over the board
