Does anybody know the width of the FJ80 front axle tubes from the housing to the knuckle balls?

I do that all the time too, just look for new threads or ones I've already checked out.

63" is the wms to wms, the measurement you're looking for isn't in the size, capacity.....
From where to where do you need the measurement?

If I could get a measurement from end of knuckle ball to end of knuckle ball that would be great. :gap:

What I had been thinking about doing is retubing a couple of junk axles I have to make them wider and stronger. I have a bent 83 front and an 85 rear so I figured what the hell I might as well try. I want to make the front fj80 width and the rear taco width. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This may be a stupid question, but a fj80 front is 63.5 a truck front is 55.5 so basicly would I just add 4 1/4 inches to each side of my axle to make it fj width? :hammer: Also would it be ok to use my ifs hubs and fj rotors to get an extra 3 inches to get it out to t100 width?

Does anyone have any tips on how I can keep the axle tubes and housing strait when I put this thing together? Do I need to build a jig? :help: I am also going to build a rear axle to T100 width if I am able to make the front work.
