as a noob, I can say, honestly, that I have used the search several times.  and whether I find what I am looking for, or not, I end up reading posts until I forget what I was looking for (even if I already found it), or till 2 in the morning, which ever comes first, just because there is so much good information.   and I would like to add thanks to all at Marlin Crawler, and everyone who has posted tech, thoughts, or ideas.  I am just getting started on an FJ40 project, and am learning tons from this forum, and the Ih8mud forum.  pirate was a bit frustrating, and not nearly as helpful as either MC or mud.

Search is still bunk.  Mike has it set so it pulls up threads based on what it deems most relevant, but it would work much better if it were to pull up most recent first.  For instance, say you want to buy a 5.29 3rd.  You go to the parts for sale section, punch that in and click search.  What you get is an assortment of ads in various chronological order, an 09 ad above an 03 ad, above an 06 ad, etc.  Makes it frustrating to use.
