« on: Nov 08, 2005, 09:30:24 PM »
been gettin all the parts together for an SAS on my 93' 4Runner. Have pretty much everything. Just been cleaning and painting it all. Just need to weld truss, paint, and put it all back together. More pics to come as the actual swap takes place.

Looks good man, git er done  Just make shure you take your time welding the truss on top or you will end up warping your axle.

what springs are you gonna use? What are your plans other than the SAS? Tires, etc.

I got a pair of 5" all-pros from Brent aka TEXCRAWLER on the board for like $120 bucks, so i'm gonna run those for now. Everything else for the swap is from Marlin.

I plan on running 5.29s, locker in the rear & 36X13.50 bias ply Iroks or 36X12.50 TSL Radials.

here are the pics of the completed axle. just need to cut the "J" off the j-arm, then weld a gusset inbetween the doubler arm for some added support/strength...

Plus my square driveshaft that Kyle a.k.a MiniSimp helped me out with.
