Hollister Hills 11/05

Even though I'm not finished with the yoda yet, I need to get out and wheel.

We'll be going to Hollister Hills on Saturday November 5th at 9:00am
Hopefully it will rain between now and then.
If anyone wants to cruise post up!

Going so far are:
OldyellerCJ - 1955 Jeep CJ5
Minisimp - 2001 Dodge Dakota
Minisimp's Father-n-Law - 1945 Jeep M38A1
Rod - Jeep something :dunno:
FordFreakChik (maybe) - Amigo!
generalee7 (maybe)



FROM THE THE BAY AREA
Take 101 South past Morgan Hill and Gilroy. Take San Juan Bautista exit (Hwy 156 East) until you come to Union Road (second stop light). Turn right and follow park signs to Cienega Road. Turn right on Cienega Road and follow signs to the park.

FROM THE SOUTH COAST AREA (Ventura, San Luis Obispo)
Take 101 North past Prunedale to San Juan Bautista exit (Hwy 156 East). Take San Juan Bautista exit until you come to Union Road (second stop light). Turn right and follow park signs to Cienega Road. Turn right on Cienega Road and follow signs to the park.

FROM THE SANTA CRUZ AREA
Take Highway 1 South to 129 East to 101. Take 101 South  to San Juan Bautista exit (Hwy 156 East) to Union Road (second stop light). Turn right and follow park signs to Cienega Road. Turn right on Cienega Road and follow signs to the park.

FROM THE NORTH (Stockton, Sacramento, Central Valley)
Take Interstate 5 South to Highway 33-South (Santa Nella) to Highway 152 West toward Gilroy/ San Jose. Take 152 past Casa De Fruita to Highway 156 (left turn toward Hollister). Take 156 to Union Road and turn left. Take Union to Cienega Road and turn right. Follow signs to the park.


FROM THE SOUTH (Fresno, Bakersfield)
Take Interstate 5 or 99 North to Highway 152 West  Gilroy/San Jose exit.  Take 152 past Casa De Fruita to Highway 156 (left turn toward Hollister). Take 156 to Union Road and turn left.  Take Union Road to Cienega Road and turn right.  Follow signs to the park.

Thanks Mini :thumbs: I'm planning on goin out there this week sometime hopefully... Now I got directions :greengrin: I'll see what work has in store for that weekend, maybe I'll bring my boys with me, if so we'll be in a Navy blue '03 TJ completely stock, and my Amigo :gap:

I got high centered on my tcase crossmember on the SAME log that Mini got stuck on :disturbed:

But it was awsome! ... I forgot to engage the 4wd before I went into the mud hole.  Dug myself real deep in 2wd, then realized " :smack:   I'm only in 2 :smack::laugh: Ended up climbing out my window and layin on the hood to hook up the strap...  :_oops:
