I'm thinking that the FZJ-100 calipers/rotors would probably fill a 17" wheel nicely and decelerate like mad.  Definitely keep us posted.
If it never breaks, people can only speculate how much it was overbuilt.

I didn't notice them in the picture that you proposed the additional bars in, and didn't bother to pay attention to them in the others.  I would say your are done.

ok dan I just have to say that you have one sick runner now man.  I wish mine was that clean.  But I do have to say that I would cry if I ever got a scratch on it.  Looks awesome man I'm totally jealous.  You'll have to check out my buddies (poowoo)'s truck that we are almost done SASing.  It is almost as clean as yours with Toyo 37's.  Keep it up man you have one AWESOME runner

well, its been two months, so time for an update.
i think i need to add leaves to the front, or replace the bronco leaves with others, as it has sagged down considerably, prolly about two inches, and i need to add larger wheel spacers to the front as the tires like to munch on the springs and the inner fender wells at full stuff.
other than that the truck rides well and drives well and flexes like mad, here are some shots from today

That is an impressive rig you have.
In your opinion, do you think lengthening the stock driveshaft on a SAS rig is worth it?
Everyone seems to say they are junk

thank you for the comment, and as far as the lengthening, if you have any travel at all then the stick length splines will not be sufficiant for movement of the shaft, going to a high pinion helps but more usable length is always needed

You said the tie rods are touching? Is that a common problem on this swap. Im seriously thinking of doing my 87 runner the same. Im just between the legality of the swap in Jersey. I dont want to hack the truck up and make it undriveable, its going to be my daily driver if I buy my house sooner than expected. Is it possible to move the box on the frame? Thanks for the input

all you gotta do is move it toi where you want, mark it, re drill holes and there ya go, most people opt to plate the frame for added strength
