We're going to get there early, probably 8:00-8:30 so we don't miss anyone, but I think the plan was about 9:00.

No worries Fatboy :therethere: When we leave on Sat. morn. we'll start posting either in the Sightings of the Willy Mammoth thread or start, yet another, MCR4 thread. Maybe The Road to MCR4.

We'll be posting all along our route as the wireless network allows, so if anyone is near an interstate and wants to take a cruise out to caravan for a short while, we could get more pics. :snapshot:

Hey Mrs. Willy, if you guys roll north with us and you need to fill the bowels of death, I have a local truck stop that is about the cheapest in the area. I just filled my 152 gal capacity for the first time in a couple of months. It was running 3.15 which seems to be 5-10 cents cheaper than most in the area. :hammerhead:   :shocking:

We'll probably camp @ Ellis Thursday night so if you head out early enough, you'll cruise right by, or you can tag along if ya want. :dunno:

I plan to be up there around 8:30 so i can unload my toy and find a parking spot.  I have to get gas in Georgetown that morning for both my rigs.  I plan to leave the house by 7:00, get into Georgetown by 7:15, leave there by 7:30 and be up at the con by 8:30.  those are my plans.  TEXXX might be driving up there with me or he might go in thursday night.

mudaddict

ok welli have never been to the con before so i would like to meet up at the begining of it. where is ellis freds40??

Ellis (i think, don't quote me on this) is "about" half way to spider, maybe less.

We'll probably be topping off before CA., but in case we do that is good to know. Diesel is running about $2.79 round here.

If we get to Ellis and you are still there when we get there on Fri. we would definately like to tag along, you were planning on getting to the Springs later that Friday? It would be cool to just get set up there and get set up then I assume we can all still go out and play from the Springs.

Hey all, Looks like I'm planning on getting to Loon area around 12-1pm on friday. Might hang for a while until we can get a small group together and head in. I'll see you all there. It's been about 10 years since I've done the 'con, so I'll be just "crawlin" along. Want to enjoy the trail as much as possible.

Geno

Can you get to Icehouse Rd from Georgetown?  Looks like it would be faster than goin to Placerville then up 50.
