If any of you guys like coming down to the beaches along the outer banks, I need your help to keep them open.   The state supreme court meeting is this friday, and here are the numbers of people to contact.  I am personally asking you, and everyone you know to pick up the phone, from now until friday, and just call and tell these politicians you want the beaches to remain open.  If we show no support, then all of the beachs on cape hatteras national seashore will be closed as of Friday.

AND i borrowed a voltmeter off a buddy of mine today, battery says 13.5v n alt says 13.5 volts but when you rev it up n hold it, HELLO 18.8V!!!!   soo, looks like ill be changing an alternator weekend n possibly gettin a new red top...

aaaaaaaaaand, shane, wat you doin with that bellhousing adapter??  the dude that bought my old bed n jungle gym wants it, he hydrolocked his 22re n got a sbc for 150....i told him 250-300...let me know

welllll... to make a long story short, pulled into a gas station cause the gli was acting weird like it was runnin out of gas. it died. went to start it back and CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK . spun a bearing on #1 cyl . gouged the crank and connecting rod . sooooooooooooo the whole damn thing is commin apart.

got adams motor out and completely dissasembled, pics coming whenever i get my computer to read the pics coming from the new camera

found a crank and rod for it,   we're just going to do a quick re-ring, just hone it, you can still see cross hatch at 225k miles, and new bearings.

i'm think 9" front,  ls engine and tranny, mounted the RIGHT way, v-drive back down to the 9" w/ 60 outers......itd be pretty sweet....i remember seeing a scion drag like that a few years ago,  was running a 3rz motor with a gt40R turbo, th350 and v drive down to a toy front axle w/ longfields and a spool, it was sweet

Happy birthday Shane . i wish i coulda been in the rain at the auto show than at a mx track.. maybe next year. total in parts so far is $600 not including new rings (szaki forgot those on the list) got the new/used crank and connecting rod. its in good cond. other than some rust on the ends but nothing steel wool wont fix. parts should all be here today. i would take pics of it all but i dont want to use my cam with tarbaby hands. will post some later.

well although i didnt make it to NC, i did make it to Rausch Creek sunday for some full size chevy wheeeeelin, the blazers my buddy Hunter from up here whos from wexford n the pickup is my buddy rich whos truck we put the cage in ran mostly blacks n reds, good time

Rich's truck we changed the right hub twice thinkin it was screwed up, which he pulled it apart yesterday to find the front right inner alloy spun the splines..and this was after he got in wedged in a tight little red trail....n while winchin him backwards, the left front stub u joint exploded n took out the stub....so he put his spare in after we got him out while the other 3 truck ran the loop....other than that it was carnage free....

makes me want a wheeler sooooooooooo bad..... but thats not happenin anytime soon..... not cool... heres the pics, since photobucket is gay n theres 104 pics, facebook is wayyy easier and ill be adding more later on:

got adams engine completely assembled and installed today, and cranked it at around 3:00 am, and at 3:00 pm earlier today, we had a pile of parts and a block with only the crank installed.  think we did pretty good, im going to bed, im whooped.    so after a long day of    its times to

sorry i kept you out so late scott but thanks for the work. i have put around 30 miles on it today TRYING to stay under 3500rpm .  its running great other than a ign timing problem at bottom end but that will probaly be fixed tonight when my VW service manual gets off work. GRRREAT SUCCESS! HIGH FIVE!
