On a lighter note.  Went wheelin' today down in Washington county.(it's good to be the President)  It was a typical day,  Cut some trails, blew my front dif, flopped a jeep on it's side.

he was locked.  winched it upright and drove it out.  I was already busted when that happened.  As for me, a hard left turn up over a berm and a quarter of a million miles.  Can't wait to open that case up.

ya they give you a strap so you can get your stock heep pulled out then take it there so they can bolt every chrome thing you could ever imagine to it.....

welp, i talked to the old man yesterday and his suggestion was a 90-95 runner...... cuz i can find one with a blown up 3.0 to rip out n drop the 4.3 in....

so i go on here and pirate and search around.... not much, BUT, i saw a few t100 builds... their rare, and i like that, so looks like im searchin for a t100 now.... ill prolly end up usin a gm 10 bolt or a pass drop 44.....since its a little wider than the stock toy axle.... but im gonna start a thread on here n pirate for some ideas....

i might just run a th350/241 or 248 case...temporarily... BUT it all depends on how the motor is in whatever truck i find.... cuz some have the 3.4....... we'll see...

haha ya, well i searched autotrader for em.... like findin a needle in a haystack...

i gotta do somemore homework on em.... their a bit wide for my axles... but we'll see...

theres a 85 p/u on Paragon's forum, 305/th350/205, stock toy axles... whole truck $1k.... and the pics of the body are SOLID... i had my roommate from last year send him a PM with my email n my info, so hopefully he'll get back to me.. if the frames solid, sold... if not, i might still go for it..... i mean its a truck, another SFA and a 1 ton driveline for a grand....

you cheap A$$.... well here she goes.....

1.  pull the third out
2.  pull the carrier out
3.  pop the ring gear off
4.  brake clean the piss out of the carrier(you want all the gear oil and
     any oils OUT of the metal)....see if you can find someone with an old oven, n leave the pregnant dog in 
     there for an hour or so at like 400, that'll boil the oil out of the pores
5.  then use a 1/8" E7018 stick rod(you wanna use this rod cuz it has a substantial amount of nickel
     in it)...or if you can get nickel rods off someone or even buy em, run around 80-95 amps
     you'll want a rod high in nickel, since the carrier is cast
6.  then while its still hot(gotta weld cast while its pre-heated), just weld the spiders to the carrier,
     and weld the spiders to the center pin... and since your re-heating the center pin(which is
     already heat-treated, you will want to cut some piece of 1/4" plate to fit in the little windows
     on the sides of the carrier to tie the sides of the carrier together(in case the carrier were to
     crack, the plate will keep it together.
7.  just make sure you keep everything hot while you weld on it, try and control the heat in the
    carrier too, cuz if it gets too hot then it'l warp the ring gear mounting surface, then once your
    done welding it, keep it some where it'll stay warm for a while and
    that it takes a good 3-4 hours to cool down.... cuz if it cools off to fast, you'll have a load
    of subsurface cracks inside the cast, then when she gets torqued hard enough,boom!!
8.  once its cooled off completely, you might have to do some clean-up to the ring gear will fit back
     on, since i know you'll cover it with boogers....

not alot of people take their time when welding diffs, but if it's your only vehicle, that you drive
everyday, then do it right the first time.... then have fun destroying tires!!!  haha, you'll get annoyed
after a while of it CONSTANTLY scrubbing, around EVERY corner.... and parking lots on warm days, haha,
prepare for a ton of people watching you park.... cuz your gonna be squeelin allllllll the time....

but i found a lot of posts on pirate about puttin my cab on frank's red truck.... so thats the gameplan..... and i can use my motor for the time being.... then when i got everything together, throw the 4.3 in it..... if i do.... i might just get case gears...

but i wanna fix the rear main, and put a stock manifold on it... n hopefully it'll make it back to williamsport.... cuz my dad wants the camry, cuz he's stuck drivin the green truck everyday.... and that car doesnt go anywhere when im here, so no point in havein 35mpg, when i dont use it... and the old man could use it....soooo my plan is to drive it till x-mas break, then swap the cabs/SFA over break.....

holy crap my account still works. well time for updates niiiiiice. picked up a 93 2.3l automatic 2wd ranger for $300. bad tranny, solid body. sooo everything came off of what was left of the 87 and now the 93 is a 4wd 5-speed.  its a sweet little truck.  i'll get some pics up tommorow for u NC bitches and yes adam it has a pappy cap on it too haha.  and i finally got a set of 79 bronco radius arms so i gotta fab some up to make them work, then i might actually have a flexy front suspension so i can bust out some mad jdm vtak on them rocks ya heard.  And i picked up a new set of wheels for the accord, jap-spec headlights and corners and a complete 5-speed swap for it too. fart cannon engage!!! haha peace.

hey whats up guys, me, mark and our buddy mike bruce went out and did some wheelin sunday night.  lets just say we all got are fair share body dammage . it was supper slick and we were all bouncing off the trees. mike bruce  has his yota stuck to the point of lockin it up, but with marks expert spotting we got him out.  all in all it was a good time.
