Wassup, newbie here, all the way from England (hence the name). Anyway am looking at gettin a new rig and have finally found one i like, its a 1987 Toyota Pickup, 4wd, turbo efi, ac, ps, tilt, new clutch, + some other stuff. It has 119,000 miles on it  and i was wondering if i could draw from the fountain of knowledge that is Marlin Crawler

Would $5000 be reasnoble and does anyone know of any problems with the turbo efi plus any tips on a first investment to add some fun to my new ride...

Thanks for the help.

I'd say $1500-$1800 if it is bone stock. (American Dollars)

the 87 is the most desireable, if it looks good and is in good shape id go as high as $3500 american

Yea if its in good condition i'd go $3500 at the MOST!

$5000 american is way to much for that if its stock.

well, what are other trucks going for?  5K seems like a lot for it over here, but how much are other toy trucks running for?  if you were in the US, i'd say no more than 3500, but I dunno what prices are like over there

Look at blue book.  Turbo's go for some good money.  Try to get the price down a litte bit.  Around $3500 is a good start.  toyotas usually go for higher then kbb.

the downfall to the turbo motors is the stock ct20 turbo wearing out. but you get all the goodies, r151f, 23slpine tcase behind it, oil cooler, bigger oil pump. im with the masses if its in good shape and stock no more than $3500. i like to lowball then go up though. rather pay less than more :dunno:

exactly, we can't really answer if we don't know what it's worth in your country, maybe 5K isn't so much maybe it's too much. For comparison you should check similar vehicle and what Price they are, there condition and all. if you find nothing good under 5K then it sure sounds like something worth considering.
