Are you going to knock out the plug and mount a T100 rear sump dip stick?...reminds me that the plug is still in the bottom of my oil pan.  Check my parts #'s in BigMikes big project.  If you can't find a good plug for the front, I used a 158gr .357 cast semi wadcutter and hammered it in :gap:

PS:

My swap looks like it was done by Homer Simpson compared to that...beautiful!

I like you're fuel line setup way better than mine.  Makes me consider want to do mine right before the truck gets running.

I can't tell by the pictures if you have a A/C compressor hooked up - have you planned that out yet?

Also, are you going to run the factory evap system or have you planned that out either?

I'm not trying to sound like a smart ass,  I'm just in the middle of the same conversion and would like some input.

The motor I found only had 8000 miles on it. Really like that part!!!  Even looked like the owner had the first oil change at the dealer or they used a Toyota oil filter. The trans is a SuperTaco W56 HD. What in the world is that you ask!! Well instead of using a W59 Taco trans. We took the W59 main shaft, which is 26 spline and used it instead of the W56 21 spline main shaft. Why??  Because now I can run a 23 spline crawlbox and 23 spline t-case using a Taco 26 spline to 23 spline 34-4gt adapter coupler. This set-up is nice because now every thing in the t-cases is 23 spline.. The W59 bellhousing has to be used also because the starter is on the drivers side.

The dip stick was a weird thing.. I bought the 96 T100 dipstick and dipstick tube but found that the dipsticks were the same. And that the dipstick tube was different. So I looked in the factory Manuel to find how much oil it takes with this pan . After it's fired up I'll mark the dipstick. As for the AC. I'm going to try to use the 85 system with the 04 compressor. Well see what happens.

Is this tranny going to be a Marlin offering? What all is entailed if one is not using a crawler, just the 23 spline Tcase?

It's cool to finally see some pics of your truck Dean!  Can't wait to get down there next summer, and ride in the beast!  The boys aren't excited about visiting the family, all I hear from them is all about going to Disneyland!  I'm ready to go for a ride.  Oh! Shall I bring the BBQ??  :beerchug:   Later Ryan!
