Bloody grease nipples

Hey guys
On my rear drive shaft i have the double cardan at the tcase and the slip yoke at the diff.
Was wondering how i can stop ripping the grease nipple off the shaft the uni is ok as its inside but the 1 on the shaft itself has now been knokd off both times when wheelin.
What do you guys do to stop rippin them off.
I thought maybe buy a plug for wheelin then thought if it rips off be harder to remove .

I use a plug. I have had to take them off with vicegrips a couple times because thy were smeared.

yep, you could get a plug, then pull it out and temporarily install a zerk fitting when you need to shoot some grease in.

Darn, I was kinda in to seein bloody greasy nipples.      benn a rough day.
