« on: Jul 09, 2005, 07:03:52 AM »
Anyone in the Alabama, Mississippi, Louisianna, FL Panhandle area that are in the path?
It ain't over till it's over but we should be safe from this one here in central Florida, but it is still very early in the season, I've no doubt there will be more to come.

We will get plenty of rain from this one, though and you know what that means...PLENTY OF MUD!  :driving:

and it would be the first time it topped 65 mph! LOL!! YEEEHAAAWWW! Well the lawn is mowed and ready for the rain.

no worries, mate. The projected path is going further out into the gulf away from the coast.

That link is awesome 88!! I selected all images under the image. You can see how strong the winds are before it hits cuba, and it kind of scatters and re-forms once it hits the gulf waters again.

That's the problems those gulf states are going to have. It might have gone from 145 to 100mph winds but now it's in open water again.
And us being on the east side we are going to get a lot of storms.

Those rain bands are feeders, if they are over land it shouldn't gain much strength.

Time to pickup the huricane party supplies.

I hope she moved a bit inland AT. Looks like it's going to hit land real close to them. Although, according to this wind chart, it doesn't appear they'll get the worst of the winds but you always have to be concerned about storm surges.
