Not to blow smoke or anything, but do you remmember MT Saint Helen's? Or even the earthquake to hit San Francisco?

Just to name a few. I know things are bad and I am not poking fun at anyone it has affected, but people can blow things way out of proportion. Now How would you like getting shot at while trying to help? That really blows and if this is how they are going to act let them suffer. Any chopper there to help should be escorted by an Cobra gun ship and return fire on anyone that takes a shot.

If anyone wants to help the Red Cross would be a good place to donate or you could take your chances and go get shot at for helping your self.

In my office we are trying to find out if they will match donations the employees make (they usually do), on top of that Lowes and I think Walmart will match donations you make in their stores, up to a certain point.

Yeah I remember the SF eathquake , because I was in it in 89........and yes I remember Mt. St Helens , I'm 43 yes I remember Viet Nam, and the Watts Riots of the 60's.........never the less, this is much larger than 9/11, the SF earthquake , Mt. ST. Helens, the watts riots all together and then some..........and just because a couple of people shot their guns, you're going to hate everyone in the 900,000 sqare mile affected area,........of course you might feel different if this hurricane would have happened to you and you lost your house, and everything you've worked for years to have, even your little yellow jeep.......saying that if this is how their going to act , then they ( all of them ) need to suffer .............shame on you !!!........I hope you don't need help in a terrible event like this, at your home ........because ......."what comes around goes around ".....so when your house burns to the ground, or is flooded and everything is ruined and lost...........just remember you said ...just let them suffer !

I heard on the news , this morning that Home owners have shot their guns protecting their property.........so I guess you'd let people come in and steal your stuff , huh and even the tlittle yellow heep, and you wouldn't shoot at them  , No you'd remember what you said about this and suffering and just have to suffer, don't you think you've blown things way out of proportion, or are you just a righteous little heep owner, and since it doesn't affect you directly.......you think Phuck 'em, huh..........I hope your not stuck on the trail , some where , needing someones help .......your jeep ready to fall off a 300 ft cliff, or sink in quicksand........because well, I guess you'll just have to SUFFER !!

Wow, that didn't take long to get ugly....

2/3 of my office staff are applying to go down and help out in person. The hospital I work withis going to match contributions up to  $5K. If I didn't have so many "have to be here for" kinda things going on, I'd probably go down there myself and try to lend a hand.

I do have to agree with MrW on one point. It's pretty phuckin stupid to shoot at the people who are trying to help. I'm sure they're all scared, frustrated, hungry and thirsty, but to bite the hand that's trying to help you just reeks of utter stupidity. It's a shame that these few people are making it more difficult for the rest of the people.

Knock your self out, it only shows your true cariture. Anybody that knows me knows I would help anybody if I could. And as for loosing everything I own, it would be a cleansing experiance, a chance to start over without all the baggage we as humans tend to carry around. Sometimes we need an excuse for a change in our lives. Not to say this is a good thing for these people, but they have to make due with what they are delt.

Come on now, why can't we all just get along. yellow = coward? Was that really necessary Digger? If you had gone through the storms we had gone through last year you would know he is anything but, and is the first one to get out there and lend a hand.
and excuse me, but I don't think MrW meant fock them all either, Digger, I beileve he meant the ones that are shooting at the people trying to help and trying to take over the city. Seems there are a lot of hard core gangs and hard core criminals that have taken it in their mind to make this turf their own.
this situation is very sad and devasting for all those poor innocent people.

well go ahead and torch your stuff ........start over , your thinking your high and mighty, with your "Oh well, I can be cleansed, of my stuff .........well go ahead and cleanse yourself , then Actions speak louder than words.. Sounds like you don't need an excuse , Go ahead , tough guy , open the gas valve , and then go check the open pipe with a lighter.
