OK so I was getting ready to put my engine in my truck, but then the weather decided to change without me knowing and my engine got rained on :rivers: . So now I'm am rebuilding it. I went ahead and took it apart today, hopefully all be able to have everything cleaned and bored out if needed within a week or two.

This is as far as I got tonight. I am putting all my bolts and nuts in plastic bags and righting where they came from so hopefully I don't lose any of them.

Hey from the pics the bores dont look that bad...if they arnt worn real bad just do a ring job on that thing. Get a tool for honeing(sp) the cylinder walls and do a good thorough clean up on all parts. Be a good time to throw in a cam and a new set of lifters. Make sure you replace the oil pump while its all torn apart. Get ahold of a Summit magazine if you havnt already. :yesnod: almost as fast of service as Marlin. Rings, bearings, seals, gaskets are all you really need. Shouldnt cost too much either. Good luck

well it has slown down because of money. My next check all have the engine cleaned, bored and have the valves done.

Well its been a few munths since I last posted about my truck. Here's how for I have gottin.

I have my 4.3 chevy V6 rebuilt
I have my NP465(granny 4 speed)
I have my NP 205 and Klune together

The next step is to put the front part of the engine on and the exhaust manifolds on, then I beleave its ready to put in my truck :greengrin:

It will be cleaned up shortly, and after I get everything in and get my drivelines measure I'll take my transfercase back out so I can have front wheel disconnect :disturbed:

Well I got a little bit more done today. I got my crome valve covers on, my motor mounts on and painted the aluminum front clip. I I'm waiting on is my water pump to come in so I can put the front of my engine on and get this bad boy in my truck.

Well today I got my wheels and tires mounted before work. There 15/39.5x17 TSL's with 17x9in Soft 8 rims.
