88runner starts when it wants

and then this is me and the starter :_order:  then it starts right up.

anyone got any ideas, i replaced it once, worked for a bit then it started being stupid. :dunno:

If your having to hit on it to get it to work then chances are it probably has a dead spot and will need replacing.It may just be a loose connection so check the connections first and then if the problem still exists then it probably needs replacing.

yeah, i was told it might be a dead spot, but i wanted to check with the yota guys first, thanks :crossed:

IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

check your connections...most likely a dead spot, how are your grounds? make sure you haven't got 'em loose or ripped off.

it's possible,check all the connections,if your not sure about them then take them apart and clean them,but chances are if you have to hit it then it's probably bad.
