Ya everybody I finnally got something to wheel but its not a toyota!

Its a Samurai, And Im about to do a toyota axle swap. Ill try to get progress pics, but If not I'll at least post after shots :greengrin:

Me too samurai wheeler! Here's my LWB being built-from-the-ground-up featuring 8" landcruiser 70-series axles (4.625 R&Ps, hi-pinion front, offset rear diff!) and coil suspension (70-series trailing arms and panhards) as well as tlc-60 steering box.

It'll be easy to put those Yota axles on if you leave it upside-down like in the first pic. :gap:

I take it you don't live in the sates?  I've seen the lwb sammys in pics and news from around the world, but never here yet, plus we never got lc70s here either.  I love what you're doing with yours, you should do a project thread on it.

Yeah it is at car mine and it was on flat ground well sorta I was going down a snow bank at about a 45* angle turned full lock and hit dry dirt ??? of well at least I can just bolt on new stuff :thumbs:

some progress I ordered hysteer arms and knuckle rebuild kit from  :turtle:  ofcourse once I get that I can assemble the front axle and build the steering links :beer:

thanks fo the interest, kneedownnate! yes, i live in moscow, russia. there're some lwb samurais in usa - you can find them on pirate4x4.com's suzuki board. tlc70s been imported in canada. i'm thinking about starting a buildup tread, but my digital camera is broken - i need to buy a new one to avoid "this tread is worthless without pics" reply :)

yea,,I was just bust'n redneckswheelers ba!!s,,,he used to post alot back in the day,,back from the old marlin board,,and has not been around for a while..that was back when he did not even have a rig,,I think he was driving a honda back then..On the old fourm he was a regular,,,on all the time..thats all..nice to see him back..and all this is assuming its even the same kid from paradise or somewhere like that..

No its carbed but it has never cut out on me it works pretty good for a carb. Eventually I will get a 120 hp swift motor for it  :king:

No Im not gonna use thier off set rear end I was gonna make my own using one 3" wheel spacer on a narrow rear end. But I wanna get a tacoma rear and shorten one side to narrow rear length wich would be the same offset as the narrow rear with 3" spacer. I dont like how sky uses a resplined axle I have never liked this idea and have herd of a few people breaking them.
