Highlakes Sunday July 3rd (PICS ARE ADDED!!!)

I am going to try to make it up to the highlakes in Nor Cal on July 3rd. I will be at my cabin which is by the turnoff to Philbrook lake, 1.75 miles down the road actually. If anyone is going to be up in that area let me know. If you are up there and want to stop by my cabin, Its a 2 story cabin thats brown with white trim around the windows. So stop on by if you want, ask for Chris.

I will be with a 89 Wrangler, white on 35s, a 95 wrangler, green on 35s, an 86 ranger, brown on 30s  , maybe an 83 bronco, brownish on 31s, and of course me, an 81 toyota on 37s, blue. Well probably leave around 10 or 11 and go mess around. I need to be on my way to chico by 330 or 4. Look for me, if you see me stop me and maybe we can wheel together. Let me know if anyone wants to to go or if youre going to be up there.

I'll be around this weekend, but I was going to avoid the Highlakes due to the large crowds that normally show up on the 4th. I think I'm going to head towards Plumas County somewhere. Theres still too much snow up there and the biting flies are just now hatching out-It sucks up there right now!

High lakes are in North Eastern Butte County/Western Plumas County about a 3-4 hour drive from the Pollock Pines

Well I ended up not even going more then 500feet down the road to the lakes. There were way too many rigs, too much snow , too many people coming up and too many morons goin down it in stock rigs. I just messed around there and then we just cruised down some roads.

BLUCRUZ, Too bad I didnt see your response. I would have gave you a call too. I had to work 5-9 and right after I was gone to the cabin. Before that I was getting ready to go wheelin this weekend too. I saw on your website the Nor Cal Kralwers ride, Isnt it the cops for kids? You going to go on it? My bro and his friend (with the YJ's) are probably going to go and I am thining about going also.

Just up the road from where we were is where the rocks were at. My dad was too lazy to get out and take pics on the rocks. Its a fun trail. Its a whle trail that has rocks. Just about every rock spot he didnt want to get out and take pics.
