Event Coverage Conflict of Interest - UROC
« on: Jun 18, 2005, 09:35:32 PM »
I don't know if anyone noticed this weekends UROC event in St George, UT. Tim Sanchez (Rock On Motorsports) is writing event coverage for both ORC and Pirate4x4. The Coverage on Pirate is sponsored by Superior axle. The coverage on ORC is sponsored by Alloy Axles. This would be like a film crew going to shoot a sporting event and then selling footage of the same event to both Coke and Pepsi. It's a sure way to double your money, but your going to have a pair of upset vendors!

Here are links to both articles...

This has never happened before in rock crawling coverage and I bet it will will never happen again!  I can just imaging that right now both axle suppliers are looking for Tim's head on a plate.
