......I'm ashamed of my IFS.

seanc

not to dis or anything, but how can you stand having stuff just laying there in the bed... what if you roll? and it would seem noisy as heck going down the trail!
You win some, you lose some.

It's a box, a gym bag, and a radiator hose.........not noisey at all.

Only thing that gets annoying is when all my tools in the box jump all over.

Don't be so ashamed I wheeled My IFS 86 4Runner everywhere, just lock it and roll till the wheels come off. IFS wheeling is better known as 3 wheelin' something only an IFS'er would understand.

Haha, I hear ya on the 3-wheelin'.  The 3-wheelin teeter-totterin' machine.

With IFS you become showtime even on little stuff, but once you get used to it and someone gets all scared because your on 3 you just kinda look out your window and go, "Hey your right, I'm only on three wheels lets shoot for 2!!!"

I can't even count the numbers of times I've been on 2 wheels, it's always caused by that damn wheel lifting off the ground, then you start to rock back and forth on two tires.

Hehe not too long ago I had IFS too:

Mine was sorta stock I had a 1.5" body-lift FJ80 land cruiser coils in back and ball joint spacers and the torsions nice and soft I was running 33's.

You can still go some places with IFS and a locker.

Now this one is about the best setup IFS I have ever seen on a stock front, had a  Rancho upper a-arm, ProComp lift and a 2 inch insert. Gave it about 12 inches of travel and it didn't pull the stub axles out.

I love it when they look at you like your crazy after that happens.  Like earlier this year, I had a friend riding with me and on a hill the right front came up in the air.  He didn't know until I told him.  His face suddenly turned white.

IFS comes out in less than a month.
