I want to do a sas on my 93 pickup, but money is a problem.  I work at mcdonalds, so money is an issue  .  I was thinking all pro front hanger (looks easier to put on), rears up front, not sure what to do for rear.  do I have to use high steer or is there a way to use stock 79-85 steering?   I want to use the cheapest stuff I can for now.  can I extend the existing brake lines somehow( I just had those replaced, so I don't want to buy new ones again)? I was thinking of finding some more rears and run a long shackle.  help with this please.  I was thinking of using ford shock mounts, but not sure.

thanks for any help

please don't do a cheap job on anything involving, suspension, brakes, or steering for the safety of you and everyone else on the road.

Sell your 93 and buy an 85 or earlier would be the cheapest. :gap:

you have to use hi steer or crossover. thats what makes it pretty costy. mayby you can find it used. i found crossover used for $175. other than that every thing else is pretty cheap. for now just get an extra set of rears for up front and run blocks in the rear along with lift shackles dependin on how much lift you want and then like you said use ford shock towers like $16. you'll also need an axle which is another $250-$350.

i think if you wanted to use 79-85 push pull steering you'd be better off with IFS
