« on: Sep 10, 2002, 05:58:51 AM »
What 'kit' does Marlin use to put a Garret T3 turbo onto a 22RE turbo motor??

I'm in search of just the adapter - I already have a T3!!

Thanks

I think that this is what you want.  This information is from Jeff Moskovitz's page.

http://www.well.com/~mosk/AdapterDimensions.html

I have a machist friend who made mine, for $50 (no hardware or gaskets) he can make you one too.  For $75 I'll track down the socket head cap screws, studs, and gaskets you will need too.

Also search on the internet for a company our of Colorado called TEC, Turbo Engineering Components (?).

They sell an aftermarket turbo kit and might sell different flanges/adapters as well.

This guy's got a nice engine built by a good friend of mine:

Lots of good stuff under the hood, but the truck looks stock.
Great site for Turbo Engine tech

Try LC's Turbo header. Just make a custom flange if your turbo won't bolt right up.

http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/reviews/turboheader/

It puts the turbo up-side-down which cools better and allows a more free air flow to the turbo with a minor addition to back pressure out the exhaust.

Looks sweet-
