Ok, so we went out to Carnegie SVRA today to have a little fun in the little bit of rain that we had.  I was mashin through the mud and hit up a coupla hills and a few rocks.  I was goin over (I'm not kidding) about a 15" rock, about 3 hours into my fun, and my track bar busted off my frame (again), taking a huge chunk of the frame with it.  Ok, so I figured it was gonna happen just not this soon.  I tie the bar up with a rope from my friend, and start to drive home at about 6-7 miles per hour.  I live about 7 miles away.

I'm driving down the road and I have one friend in front of me and one behind me.  I pull over cuz my truck was wobbling like it was fallin apart, and I look at my axle and it had shifted 6 inches to the left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  My coils were like \------\ OMG!! So I'm like flop it I have to get home.  I finally made it home in about 50 minutes, safe and sound, but my poor truck is sittin in my front yard and I can't drive it now  :rivers:

Oh well, just a good excuse to get to work on it!!    :smack:

Four link that ford and don't look back.  I know what you mean about loving that ford,  I love mine too but yotas are just plain outstanding to mash the trails in.  My cousin has a 78' f-150, We beat the crap out of that thing, 240,000 miles and she been in the family since her first day on the lot back in 77'.

whiteman

Whoa!!! :conf:   Somthing is not right here.  You have a 70' f-250 that has coil springs, you must have swapped them in beacuase coil springs only came in f-150's.  What is your explaination for this confusion :headscratch:

Haha  I was wondering if anyone would catch on.  I have a '70 f-250 rear end, body, and engine, and a 79 f-150 frame and front axle.  Make sense now??  :beerchug:

Gonna DL the pics tonight so that I can post em tomorrow morning.
