Pictures from fordyce trip http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/yota4life/Fordyce/
After the last couple trips i have had problems getting high centered on the crossmember so its flatbelly time. Raising the t-cases about 4 inches. I want it even with the frame rails for the most part. Raising the gas tank 2 or 2.5" also flat with the frame rails. I thought long and hard about what to do with the horsecollar crossmember, was thinking of making one out of square tube but then i would have to set up the ebrake and gas tank mount so. What i came up with is to cut it off and raise it about 2.5" inches im thinking will be good and cut out the horsecollar bend and clearence it as much as i can for the t-case flange/driveshaft. For once the body lift will benifit being on my rig. I dont like them but for a flatbelly it will save me cutting out my tranny tunnel. Looks like i will have to cut out just the very back of my cab if even that and make some more room. Im doing all the cutting this week with a plasma.
Where its going to be mounted, maybe a little higher
Im buying the Front range kit but im thinking of fabing my own skid plate. It cost 70$ more for theirs, i could make a better one though. Still not sure what im going to do.
Pulled out the crap manifold and installed this
Tri-y header from doug thorley. Im going to redo my ehaust for the 3rd time when the flaybelly is done.
Half doors almost done but going to hold off on those till later. Just some grinding and paint left.
