Nah it was probly around 105* and he had sweated out most of the avalible water for tears. :)

Something that works good in that situation is to get the other rig right over the stuck one then use the winch to lif the stuck one out of the hole. That way the top rig can pul forward as the stuck one lifts out. With both guys working together it goes pretty fast. I have helped guys that were in that same spot this way.

Yeah, it was hot as :pokinit: We were fighting over shadey spots. :hahaha:

I don't think RS was able to get his truck close enough without getting stuck himself. It was just the two of us. But we got out. I think most of that time was spent resting in the shade :haha:

Man I wish I didn't have to work yesterday I would have been there to play :(. I left Indian wells at 11 and was thinking " I should just take 247 up and see whats up in Barstow" then the cell kept ringing me back to reality and I came to the office. next time maybe.

How much of the trails did you get to see? that canyon up just a few feet further is really cool. On top is an old mine that was uncovered by strip mining. I looks like you just took the top off a huge ant hill with all the tunnels and such.

This time of year is great for night wheeling. Too hot during the day, you will have great weather in Big Bear though.

Great pictures! Zukizzy took me out to Calico in the old Sami and I had a blast. :driving: So Big Bear is the next stop? Remember to keep your eyes on the trail. No weggies are likely, but you might flop. :shhh:

What flavor of Tillamook cheese did ya get?  Wisconsin uses our cheddar cheese as the standard when comparing cheese!  We've used the same cheddar recipe for 100 years!  The best is the white vintage cheddar that has been smoked!   :yumyum:  It makes the very best grilled cheese sandwiches!  But you got to love extra sharp cheese!

I doubt they have any service on hanna flats. Or the LBC is still in a dennys parking lot and Mark is casting a new turbo out of beer cans that he and MrsWM have collected :gap:

Rocksurfer  and the gang  are staying at camp for another run tonight,  but Mark loaded up  and they are easing down the long  downhill grade,  very steep  so he is going slow

Nix that, somehow we're on 247N, so we're just going to take this straight to I-40. I guess there's a bit more of a climb to this but it is a direct route there.
I see how long we have access and get some pics posted.
