Checking in from Moab
« on: Feb 22, 2022, 11:39:03 AM »
Howdy, checking in from Moab Utah.
Current fleet is a 02 e46 M that's the ladies DD, a volvo 240 wagon 5spd  :eyebrow: and the truck is '06 tacoma dcsb.
Have been moving around while school is getting done. Call Bozeman home and have spent a good while in Tucson too before settling here in Moab in 2019.
Motor head by heart and enjoy working on all our cars unless there's some time crunch or the DD is down. Most of the time I hang out and post on TW but well... stuff.

<< insert cool current picture of rig >> except, appearantly I don't take those pictures.  :shake_head: I'll park up on the curb when I go grocery shopping next  :gap:

newb question: what's up with a captcha + 3 other rando questions?

Hey airkewled....

Welcome to the forum...  :beerchug:

So what's up with all the acros?  ???

Your comments are somewhat cryptic.  :inthedark:  I assume it's your attempt at offhanded humor?  I like humor.

Or you think we all have a postgrad in Urbanchat?  :headscratch:

What is "captcha + 3 other rando questions?"  :dunno:

I'm old and do long division... plz help me out here.  :gap:

acros? I don't know what this is. Acronyms? :) Ha, I bet that's it. Yeah, just habits from other forums where known terms are often abbreviated. Instead of typing out "daily driver" or "double cab short bed" it's just easier to write dd or dcsb.

Humor, yes, humor is good, I like it and deploy it often.

Maybe the captcha isn't something you're seeing when you post. When I post, I have to pass a captcha, challenge–response test, then answer 3 other random questions about marlin products or general 4wheeling before I can submit the post.
