Thinking about starting my Top Gusset and Front Diff guard{ Marlin Crawler items} weld job.
There are a few items to be removed , sway-bar & bolt mounts , axle wrap assembly and stabilizer shock mount, I've checked out MC vids pretty straight forward   :slap: BUT maybe I can hear from some of ya that have done this upgrade......how does the removal of these affect the handling of your Rig while driving on street/highway ?
Much appreciated !

I'm not a fan of the top truss. I would recommend diff guards and knuckle gussets.

I wouldn't worry about the sway bar. I've never even driven a Toyota that still had one.
If you remove the torque rod, the truck will pull while braking. This is with stock steering, it's not an issue with high steer.

Unless you plan on jumping it you don't need a truss on top

agreed that the top truss is not needed(and ugly). if you don't have crossover steering, I would not remove the torque rod or sway bar. I wish someone would make crossover steering that retains the sway bar but they are all just copies of the original all-pro design. I think it (sway bar) makes a noticeable difference on the street. before my crossover install, I had sway bar disconnects for off-road and it worked well.

I did the top truss and front diff guard from Ballistic Fab as well as a knuckle gussets and steering stop reinforcements.
To prep for it I just used a 4" grinder and a cutoff wheel and basically too all the brackets off that wouldn't be needed as I have high steer now. Then a 50g flap disc to prep all the areas to be welded.
Good luck man! Looking forward to the pics of progress.

Appreciate the feedback/advice , with the loads I carry don't know if I want the "pulling under breaking". Think for now I'll just go with diff guards !
Still have stock steering, maybe "high-steer" conversion next year
