R150f input shaft

Ok newbie here and looking for a straight yes are no answer. I have a 99 Tacoma I'm putting in a Ls (5.3) in and got most the parts. but need to know if you can take the input shaft out of a pre 96 Toyota R150f and put it in the 99 Tacoma R150f ? both are v6 I need the short input shaft and want to keep my trans as it was just rebuilt

Should be able to do it. but I haven't done it so cant confirm it.

YES.  There are several threads here about swapping the shaft out that might be helpful. Good luck.
