Ok Folks,  Well after about 8 years of no Toyota ownership I am officially getting back into it.  All though my priorities have changed my love for Toyotas is still strong   Going to keep this a clean daily driver rig.  Something I can drive cross county but actually hit the trails..

My Build will consist of right off the get go

95 22re 5 speed 4runner
Marlin built r151f, 4.7 total spline in rear case
5.29 nitro gear Elcocker Rear,  Had ZUK build the diff.  Running out of time before MC round up this year
12voltguy.com Harness and switch for elocker   www.12voltguy.com
5.29 Yukon IFS front with spartan
FROR twin stick
33x10.5 BFG km3's
Rock Sliders (home brew)
Temp home brew rear bumper to get me to the round up.

Stock suspension for this trip.  But will change soon enough

Post MC round up  these changes will begin once back from the round up.

3RZ swap from 2000 Tacoma with completely rusted frame.  Motor is primo.  this will be a CA smog legal swap.  Motor will be pulled from the tacoma the week after MC round up.  As well as the 22re.

ORS Harness
Toyota only swaps motor mounts
Toyota only swaps IFS oil pan
Toyota 2tr to r155 bellhousing for the r151f

Suspension, axles and Duals once motor is done..

MC08 if they ever have

Diamond housing HP HAROP elocker 61" wide front axle

Tacoma Elocker rear axle

I want to keep as low as possible.  35's are max size tires as this will be a driver and kept really clean

Reply back if you want me to post updates.  But Glad to be back into the toyotas

Next week I will modify axle housing for elocker and get sliders done

I have 2 r151f's  One will go in now and one is heading to Marlin soon for rebuild

Here is a little video I made for the 12voltguy harness for the elocker.  Great stuff for a great price.  And he supports Marlin and the Rubicon!!  He will have some prizes at the round up this year just like years past

Oh yea,  Darren at 12voltguy.com is coming out with a new harness for the elockers that will integrate the elocker motor vent into the harness to keep you motor dry..

Hi Pat,
Go ahead and post as many pics of the elocker installs as you like.....

A little offtopic but since elocker harnesses was covered in the above posts.......for those that go with a Harrop elocker......

I can see 12volt guy working up something like this....

If I had Harrops and wanted something "fast and dirty" I might try this.   It's just too damn simple though   :smokin:

Found these on ebay for cheap.   Might offer them to some of my Harrop customers.
The Harrops only draw 4 amps on a good day.

Basically just run the 2 wires from the Harrop elocker diff to these 2 wires.....and be done.

That would be a quick way to get on the road with the Harrop. :)

Well I got the Tcase together today as well as installed the transmission and tace in the 4runner.  Tomorrow I will drain the oil in the rear diff and start the Mod for elocker..  Should have my rear diff back from ZUK by Wednesday.  Pressure washed the undercarriage and rear end to make it a little cleaner and easier to work on it :)

Got a good chunk done this weekend in preparation for the elocker.  I got most to of the modifications done on the housing.  I cut out the notch.  Then I welded up the areas(after pic) where the 2 long studs have to go and flattened them out with a flap disc and large flat file.  so all that is left is drilling the new holes.  I will do that once the diff is here tomorrow night.

Ok  folks,   Well I just got back from the Round up with the 4 runner.  It was fun getting a ton of looks from folks who couldn't believe I have my near stock runner there  :) :D

But a few more pics.  One if of the newer style harness that www.12voltguy.com sent me with the built in vent line for the elocker motor.  Came out nice and it runs the vent up about 3' and splits of out the main harness.  Still great quality and armored.

Another pic of the harness,  then one of it installed..  Also a couple pics of the 4runner in actions(notice my sliders and rear bumper) as well as a undercarriage shot of the r151f and FROR twin sticks I bent to my liking for leg room :)

I have another r151f to go in the first gen so this one is staying.  Trying to figure out a way to keep this one though.  Trying to raise funds :) if I keep it will still get the 3rz :D
