Well I sold the 4runner        I ended up buying the 83 4wd and a 79 long bed 2wd.    But here they are, the 83 has 148,000 original miles,  Straight truck with a little surface rust.  Only a couple dings on the tail gate..     The 79 has 180,000 and has been kept in the garage all it's life,  The dash is not even cracked in it and the body is almost perfect.  A little time capsule

Well the 83 is coming along.   I did my front lift(not in pic), have all my new transmission and transfer case stuff, elocker for rear, locker and 4.88's for front. and a bunch of little parts..  Now to get it all done for MCR

I sold all the 3rz stuff.  I decided if I was doing a swap it will be a 3.4 after seeing a super clean 1st gen with the swap done.    So now on the prowl  for a good donor rig for that.

Hey thanks Trevv,  Yea the 4runner was fun.  I got tons of looks at the round up last year with it being it was so clean and stock suspension.  I literally was asked how I got it in there    The guy I sold it too has done a lot with it since.  He has made custom bumpers and lots of other things.  I will be up there this year in the 83 as well.    See you there

Still need to finish my mc08 build as well as my 23 spline total spline 4.7 gears..   Coming along

I never understood that. Like what is someone really going to do with your plate number? and also its there for anyone who is driving on the road to see, so whats the difference between the 500 people who see it every day when you drive and it being in a picture?

It is crazy.  I love asking the folks on craigslist selling their cars with pics of their thumbs over the license plate if they drive around town with the hand out the window so all the public can't see their plate???  hahaha
