i have been running 38" tsl's on my rear for over a year now.i am not easy on my truck either.derek
The rear shaft are really strong stock,,and with cromo its even better..You run into a ring and pinion problem though..To reliably run larger meats and use the skinny you need a bigger ring and pinion,,4.88/4.11..If you good to it 5.29 will be ok,,just a matter of kinny pedal and vehicle weight..The stock rears and not bullet proof,,but for a stock axle there beef..Put it this way,,the rear is the least of your worries,,you have front end issue 1st..
look at it like this Marlin runs 35's chances are theres a reason
dont go under 4.88 gearing if you like the skinny pedal, but chances are the birf or drive shaft will go long before the rear shafts do and yes toy rears are the same diameter and strength as dana 60'slook at it like this Marlin runs 35's chances are theres a reason
