Topic: Where to stay in Berkely, ca?

A friend and I are going out on a charter fishing boat sunday and can't decide whether to book an air bnb room, hotel or find somewhere to camp.  Seems a waste to pay for a room when we'll be out of there well before 5 am.

Does anybody know any places not far from the berkeley marina where we could stay?

We are coming down saturday night and going out sunday very early

Shower before you leave, then sleep in the car at a rest stop..................

Pretty much where we are right now.  I am used to it and he will do just about anything to go fishing!

dang it i wish i could help.. i have a sail boat in san mateo..other side of the bridge... but its comfy..if i was around this weekend id let you crash there.. unfortunately im heading up to the lemons race at thunderhill

I gotta get to that race some day!  Trying to sync up with some friends to build a car for it.  I appreciate the sentiment and woulda had fun crashing on your boat

if you have time after head down a little south in san leandro and check out 21st amendment brewery or Drake's brewing. I helped with the construction of both.  I always stayed at the Marina inn down there in san leandro. nice people there and decent rates (we have a corporate rate there if you need).

We slept in my friends camry.  It was terrible.  We did catch some halibut, though
