Greetings from the Land of Oz (The Dorothy and Toto Oz, not down under.) I've been a lurker on here for years because I haven't really started anything "new" that wasn't already covered. I'm by no means new to Toyotas, been tearing them up for 20 years but aside from the usual replacement and repair of stock or close to stock items I've never done a complete frame off modified build from scratch. My shop is full of junk, wrecked or impaired Toyotas right now and in the interest of clearing out some floor space I'm pondering the possibility of of turning 4 into 1. Starting with an 85 4Runner 22RE/manual with bad body that I will swap rear up front springs, chevy rear springs, wider V6 rear, widen the front with Taco rotors V6 calipers and IFS hubs, hysteer and IFS steering box. 91 V6 ex cab 3vz/manual/4wd that will be donating various parts, 95 4Runner 3VZ/auto/2wd that will be the body and a 95 3RZ/manual/2wd T100 that will be donating the 3RZ  and wiring. In my mind the main entertainment of this project is going to be morphing the 3RZ into the 3VZ 4Runner as that seems to be an uncommon swap (yes I know the 5VZ is awesome, I just happen to already own the T100 and I love the 3RZ Tacos I daily drive) The T100 isn't OBDII so I don't know if that makes it better or worse? My end goal is to have a capable driver/hunting wagon, not a crawler or trailer queen. I'm going for about 4" lift with 4.30 gears riding on 235-85-16 rubber. I have had several 3RZ tacos that were plenty peppy and capable of rolling above hiway speeds with those tires (yes I know they are skinny but they are awesome in snow and ice and the 10 ply tires shed nails like water off a duck) The added weight of the 4Runner and solid axle probably need the 4.30s to balance it out. Please gimme your experienced ideas on why this is a disaster waiting to happen or the greatest combo known to man. If you have no experience with it and just wanna tell me what a $hit$how it's gonna be you can keep it for pirate or yotatech. Thanx  :)

Thanx for the welcomes. I took a few pics of the various trucks this weekend and will start a build thread when I have more than just hot air to tell about.
