My father in law had a 92 efi 2wd and when I built my old sammie I used toyota axles so I gave him the sammie junk to make his 4wd. My wife loves it but he won't let her have it so I went over to new Orleans last night and scooped this 92 up for $1000. Has new exhaust including the cat, new plugs, wires, cap, button. Had a new tank and pump put in last summer but has sat since.

Tank was ate up already.

No she dd's a 99 4runner. We have 2 kids to keep safe. But this is just going to be something she can drive to the beach or go loafin in. Plan is a set of 4" yj springs in the front, 3.5" yj in the rear. 81 Toyota axles with 4.37 gears, 6.5 case, tracker steering with high steer either some 35s or some 345/75 km2s.

Ordered fuel pump and fuel level sender last night. Hopefully I can get this tank clean enough with muriatic acid to let it dry and redkote it. Domt want to drop $200 on a tank.

New pump came in yesterday. Got out tonight to finish cleaning the tank. Used a combination of the steam cleaner with a whirly tip, alumi brite, muriatic acid, and then some baking soda and water to neutralize any acids left. Was in too much hurry to get it together so I didn't take pictures but it looked like new. Put it all in along with a new fuel filter. Primed her a few times and it busted right off. Wasn't expecting that. Ran well, the alternator has a random knock. Gonna tear it down and see if it has a bearing sticking. Also do a cap button and wires. I grabbed the cap and about pissed my pants when it shocked me.

Cleaned this mess and put new fuel pump and filters as well as level sending unit.

Today put this 1 wire, bracket, and trail ready pulley on from the other motor.

Sammy's here sell for $300 all day long, even beat up!

Buddy at work has one with a 4.3, th200 mated to factory case that is geared, 35's. And pulls wheelies all day long. The rear driveshaft is so short, that he usually ruins tcases.

You can't find Sammis here for less than 3000.. It's ridiculous

Just been looking at it under a boat cover lol. Got it out yesterday evening and put abour 60 miles on it. It brought back memories of about 10 years ago when I got my 1st rig (sammie) little thing is like a go kart.

Had an old wheel laying around so ordered an install kit and popped thst on. Whittled on the horn button a little and made it fit. Have to do a little to make the horn actually work off of it but I have an idea.

Finally dropped the tank again to put the level sending unit in. Then drove up to pops house and snatched the speedometer cable off the old sammie and swapped it before I came home. Didn't know a sammie would actually go that fast.

Gor a friend that is cutting one up to go rocks and 14.9s so I'm getting his 4" yj springs for this one. Another friend with a plasma table is going to blow out the brackets for me. If it turns out well I might start selling them for him.

Got the springs all cleaned up yesterday. Might paint them this week. Gave my friend the dimensions for the spring swap brackets. If he doesn't get them done soon I'll just draw them out and bust out the Metabo.
