Topic: 86 22re idle issue

Need help please. Motor has less than 500 miles on it.  I think I have tried everything but I am by no means an expert. Idle surges very slightly, cant adjust it, when I try to it is either to high or to low there is no happy medium. On the trail it seems like the throttle is sticking because I will let off the gas and idle will stay high then all of a sudden it will lower its self. Is this a TPS problem? I did bleed the coolant system put Teflon tape around the idle adjustment screw (hoping that would fix it) NOT.... I don't know what to do next, any Ideas?

Try checking the tps voltage it might have a flat spot..run threw see if change is smooth or jumpy check with Volt meter ,,

I would start with checking the tps too. After you verify the tps is in spec check the timing. Also look closely for any vacuum leaks. No cel or stored codes?
