so i bought a 83 22r engine only for school many years ago never ended up rebuilding it in class and now finally getting to it.. Did top to bottom rebuild and almost to the first start up problem is don't have a ecm or wiring harness!! Has anyone done this or able to help me with this challenge!
-So correct me if I'm wrong from some of the info i could find if i send 12 volts to a wire on the carb i can bypass the computer part of the cold start and seems like that will solve the carb problem.
-The distributor is not a points type so theres some conversion there i forgot exactly but i can figure that out.
when it comes to sensors I'm not sure i assume i don't need them just for a start up on engine stand. I'm also missing some of the emissions components that mount to vehicle but I'm in the process of bypassing those for start up.
That's as far as i got with this and I'm assuming I've overlooked something any wise words?
