new to MC
« on: Feb 10, 2013, 08:35:23 PM »
hey everone, my name is Greg and im from northern Cali. I bought an 89 4runner last december and have since proceded to pour time and money into it, and i enjoy every second of it. I use it to go hunting, and also look forward to going on some trips this summer camping in it. Its my first Toyota 4x4 and cant wait to do something new to it. Im currently trying to figure out best/ideal way for me to dual case it, while keeping money and practicality  in mind, because im currently a student and dont have a money tree out back. Im new to the toyota scene and im sure i will post a lot of questions that might be stupid to most, but i got tuff skin and look forward to learning as much as i can along the way and know this is the best place for that! Im a new memeber on here but have been checking out the website and forums for over a year now.  thanks!

:welcome: and good luck with your project. It's very satisfying to see your truck take the shape you decided for it.

Cool man i live near by in Magalia, But I go to school in chico at butte. If you ever need an extra  hand and info with your 4runner hit me up,I got an 85 but it needs engine work,it has a bad knock but when i get it up and running again and you have your rig ready we should deffently go wheeln up in meadows or high lakes.

1985 crawler, sounds good to me! im trying to get my stuff all figured out and figure out what exact route im going to take with my runner so i can start peicing everything together so its not a huge expense all at once. Me and a few of my buddys are planning a high lakes trip this summer, would definitely be nice to have another runner in the group! and if i got any questions ill send em' your way for sure, thanks man!

I gotta see your rig, sounds bitchn. but yea if your looking for a t case i have an extra one just sitting .i beleive it is forward shift though.not sure might be top shift, but im not not doin duals anytime soon i gota focus on on other things like an engine so i would sell it if you are interested.
