Topic: Heat A/C Bulb

Does anyone know the bulb size for the heat/AC panel? Toyota doesn't have a part number. Apparently, you have to buy the whole control unit. I have a 12V led bulb that I plan on soldering in this weekend. I just thought I would ask ya'll before I went to all of that trouble.

I have tried a #74 bulb that Sylvania's website says will work for instrument lights, but it is smaller than that. I wish I had a picture, but by the time I get the dash off, the led bulb is going in.

The bulb behind the heater controls? I'm interested too. I know it's the same as the AC button bulb.

i have used the 74 in all the ones i have replaced, was a little bigger..... but comawn, bigger is better right....

no really, it has worked for me.

I tried a 74 but it didn't work. Maybe I didn't get the bulb seated in the contacts properly. I will try a 74 again and let you know if it worked for me. I would much rather have an off the shelf solution.
