I was just wondering if anyone is running the roundeyes square headlights lights (RCH200-2 - Rectangular Toyota® Conversion Headlamps) and the 130/90 watt halogen bulbs (RCDWH4-130/90W - Off-Road Diamond White Halogen Bulb 12V).  I was wondering how well they work.  I know its kind of hard to explain, but how bright are they?  Is it comparable to an hid off road headlight?

I did see that and I wasn't looking for an argument if the housing for the lights is dot approved.  I was curious of peoples opinions using roundeyes housings with the 130/90w bulbs.  I want to know how they compare to a off road hid light like http://www.amazon.com/Navigator-PL-1100-Road-Driving-Lamp/dp/B00266BUG4

the stock toyota wiring isn't going to handle 90/130 watt lights......

also, the roundeyes polycarbonate lenses are dot approved, however trunning other ligths in them is not dot approved..... if it's a trailer queen only vehicle, go for it.... but if it sees street, you will probably get pulled over and ticketed for it... and since street vehicles ee a lot of time with their lights on, unless you upgrade the harness, i would be very hesitant to run 90-130 watts through 18 guage (if that) stock toyota wires that are 25+ years old

if you read the rest of that thread, it looks like people are quite happy with them, even in dot legal form, with regular wattage bulbs
