R155F vs. R150
« on: Dec 09, 2010, 06:34:36 PM »
I just picked up a 22RET Bellhousing for my 854Runner and was looking for info on the R155F 2005+ tacoma transmission.  I'm wondering if the RF1A case adapted to the 23 spline would be a good candidate for the R155F? Is this adaption possible or are the rears of the R155F not the same as the older R series transmissions?  The only info that I found for the R155F's came from wiki and they are not really credible.  Eventually I'd like to convert to a more powerfull newer engine rather than the tired 22re so thats why I'm trying to weigh my options for transmissions.

I would be calling Marlin about this.
The only thing that comes to mind, is the T360 adapter Marlin sells.  But Marlin can be the one to confirm this.
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!
