95 Taco starting problems
« on: Aug 05, 2010, 03:34:13 PM »
Got a hot start problem with a 95 Taco with a 2.4l. when it's cold it fires right up. When it's been running and at operating temp, it has a very long crank. You can actually press the gas pedal and it helps to start it. Any ideas?
it has new injectors and coolant temp switch. can't seem to pin piont the cause. thanks. :beerchug:
I don't need a winch, I wheel a TOYOTA!!!!!!!

My tacoma has the same issue, i did some reading up and im almost positive its the ignition control module. i think it gets to hot and needs to cool down before it will fire.
