Mine is a mix of 4* weld on shims and rotated knuckles.
watch your shackle angel if they are to steep you will start hitting the cat..., i had to move my cat... cuz the shackle was hitting it, not bad but enough to piss me off.
brace the frame. i have bolt on cross members that bolt up to the frame under the bell housing and one that goes over the to of the motor.
you can see what i am talking about with the pics on the second page.
hope that helps

I don’t know how I still remember these things but I do.... So to clarify for anyone doing the same thing, you can re-weld the spring perch that is on the axle but you will be left with machining or adding shims to the one that’s on the diff. What I did was order 12 deg steel weld on shims and have them permanently welded on the springs perches (both left and right). PLEASE remember to not shortcut this and place chepo aluminum shims as they can slide out and cause you to lose your front end. I then mounted the axle, ground out the knuckle welds and used a really big hammer with a bit of heat to turn the knuckles back 12 deg. A few passes with a good welder and I was all set. The axle, Josh jump in here, has over 100k miles on it without a problem. Hope that helps out........................Now what to build next?

Trucks is looking good. I started my build this weekend. I got everything suspension wise cut off the frame and got the box pulled to get ready for the bob. I took tomorrow off so as long as parts show up through out the week and all goes well she'll be sitting on the new suspension hopefully. Had a hikup with some parts i order through sky but that was fixed today and should be here by the end of the week.

Sounds great Toyin. Make sure you brace the frame and plate the frame for the steering box. you can get away for a long time with out it but the frame will start to crack around the bolts. i just did it this passed yr with only a miner hair line crack
Yes the front axle has well over 100k and i have not had any issue with it.
