I got a couple more questions for if you don't mind.
1st
What is your wheel base?
2nd
What is the frame heigth? Going to run trail gear springs in teh front and not sure what in the rear yet i would like to try and find some 5'' TC,MC or AP springs.

854RUN

Ask away

WB is 124" (stock)
ground to frame is 27". The rear springs are 5" Alcans and the fronts are 2" Alcans.
the front hanger: it drops 4 3/4" from the bottom of the frame to the center of the bolt. The spring hanger bolt is in-line with the body mount bolt.
My hood sits about even with the hood of a newer f150
What axle you wont to run?
let me know if there's any thing else. :)

I'm hoping to get the WB a little shorter :flamer: if  can. That seems like it's pretty loooong. I'm going to run a GM60 in the front and a 14B in the rear, tires will be a set of 40'' irocs  on 17 MT aluminum wheels with staun internal bead locks.

You don't have any pictures of the inside of the bed where you made the cuts by the tail gate and the wheel well do ya?

854RUN

The WB is a little long but not as long as a taco (127")
if you do 5" springs in the rear with 40's you will need to do some trimming
i will see if i have any pic of the inside of the bed. no cuts in the wheel well's

Na i think that picture will work. I figured i would have to trim some but that's no big deal. Biggest goal is to keep the ride heigth down as much as possible

854RUN

well if your ok with trimming your fender to fit 40's go with 5" or 6" in the back and 2" or 3" in the front and that will keep you low. I need to trim my rear fenders from the bottom about 6" up but not by much maybe a 1/2" on each side of the fender.

I really like your truck.  By chance, would you happen to have the alternator connector that you cut off your truck to install the bigger alternator?  Just so happens, it is the same connector I need to get my DD back on the road, a 98 taco.  PM me or reply if you do.  Sorry for the hyjack but I can't PM yet I think until I get my post count up. (sorry for the newbiness)

854RUN

well yes and no. i did not cut the wires, just removed them with the pins and put them in the new plug. So all i have is the old plug with no wiring. I am more than willing to send you the plug if that will help you but like i said no wires.

ps don't worry about the hyjack this is about my truck and what i do with it, and if that involves helping you well then no hyjack :)

pm sent

Awesome Rig man.. i love seein those T's swapped and put to use. There is one close by me that looks very similar and i've always drooled over it. I liked your remedy for keeping the tie downs on the bob job. First i have ever seen like that. Doing mine in the next week or two.

R151 to 3.4l swap

So I finally swapped out my tranny for my r151 and duals!! Well I kind had no choice the stock tranny 341xxx miles on it and went from sounding like a coffee grinder to a tin can with marbles in it. This was not as easy as I thought it was going to be.

This swap could have been easy if I had stock exhaust manifolds (from what little info I have found on the swap) but I have JBA headers. The issue is that the header collector on the passenger side hugs the stock bell housing. Now in order to do the swap you need to put a bell for the 3.0l on the R151 and that has the same bolt pattern as both engine and tranny. The issue with the 3.0 bell vs. the 3.4l bell is that the clutch fork goes from the wide open driver side one the 3.4 to the cramped side on the 3.0 witch if you have JBA headers the passenger side needs to be pushed out 2" to clear the fork and slave. After trying to figure out what to do besides cutting up my $700 headers I cut them :rivers:. I cut them about a quarter of an inch from the flange and added 2" then put them back on. From there I re-did the driver side drop down pipe (the peace the drops down from the cross over). The other pain in the butt is that the shifter comes in the cab about 6" to 7" in front of the stock tranny.  Fixed that mess with a 7" dog leg!! And a 4" dog leg for the reductions box shifter (only because I have it set up as a forward shift). I can now leave my arm on the arm rest and shift in all gears lol. The t-case just needed a new hole about 2" to 3" back from the original floor opening for the shifter. X-member is still stock but it just about bolted right up. I had to cut the center out and weld it back in place a ½" up and ½" forward. Now I need a new front d-shaft and a new rear d-shaft some day, I cut 6" out of the rear and have been running it for a couple day at 75 to 80 mph with no vibes so it can wait for now.  O and as far as the clutch goes I used Marlins HD 1200ftlb clutch for a 3.4 and a 3.0 throw out bearing.  I will take some pic up and post them. I did not take any over the weekend when I was swapping it.

ya were the two side meet into one is right at the cat and that right above my shackle. i had to re-do it about 3 times, i moved the cat 6" back totally out of the way of the shackle. That was the worst and most time consuming part of the swap by far.

I heard there's extra wiring involved with putting a supercharger on a 95 T100, can anyone confirm of deny?

dont know about the 95, i do know the ecu is not really setup for a s/c and has issues. TRD will tell you that you can not do it, they changed the ecu in 97. you might be able to swap it but i am not 100% on that. this is a good sit to look at for more s/c info: http://www.gadgetonline.com/Super.htm
i would also say to give a call to URD they will tell you yes you can or no you cant. I've heard of guy pulling it off with the help of this kit from URD http://www.urdusa.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_3&products_id=1230100017

Good luck

Quick question regarding your truck. Did you have to do any pinion angle correction with the shackles under the frame? Cut and turn, spring perch wedges etc. Love the truck and gathering ideas and suggestions for my 97 T100 that is under the knife.
Thanks
97 T100 Under the knife!

P-DiseToy24

You can also build a bigger or smaller shackle to change the angle.  Moving the solid mounting point of the leaf spring will also change the angle.
