Help for those looking to buy welders and cutters.
« on: Dec 02, 2004, 06:39:10 AM »
I have noticed that quite a few people ask about what kind of welder to purchase or what kind of cutters to buy; i searched and pulled up a few different companies who manufacture this equipment to mak it a little easier for you :acclaim:

Here is the website for the American Welding Society
www.aws.org

Here is Miller's website(IMO they are my choice on MIG and TIG. They also sell plasma cutters) :rockingout:

Next up Lincoln(I like my Lincoln stick welder)
http://www.lincolnwelders.com/

Esab(welders and plasma cutters) They make a welder that does stick, mig and, tig all in one unit($1400?)

Hobart(cutters and welders)
http://www.hobartwelders.com/

Hypertherm(THE ONLY WAY TO GO IN PLASMA CUTTERS! Designed at MIT!) :rockingout:

This company sells welders and has useful info too..Welders Supply
