anyone who has sr5 power windows please look...
« on: Oct 23, 2009, 08:04:19 PM »
ok, so i picked up a full set of sr5 power doors this afternoon. the only problem is some ill bent dirty pastard took all the switches off the drivers side door  i need to see what these switches look like. the doors came off a 88 4Runner so if anyone has a 88 or 89 sr5 4runner with power windows please take a quick shot of your drivers side door switches that'd be a great help. thanks

Are yours the contoured door panels or are they flat?

there are 4 openings total so im assuming a drivers side window control, passenger, passenger lock but what else is there? or possibly 1 window switch and just a toggle switch that goes from driver to passenger wondow control then a door lock switch????  :headscratch:

Sorry, I wish I could help.  Mine are the flat door panels in my '85.  Finding those contoured ones are like finding a unicorn.  It just doesn't happen.  Hang onto them, even if you don't end up using them.

Yep those are the ones I have, pretty rare. There was a 1st gen runner at the ontario pick a part a week ago with those door complete and in great shape  (C4C), I would have grabbed them if I had the $$$. If you are near its worth a look. I think right now with all the C4C cars at the junkyards you have a good chance of finding them, just have to get out there and look.

Please post if it is still available, and if it is, also post the P/N. I was told that it was discontinued. My switch isn't perfect and I would replace with a new OEM part if possible. Thanks, Eric

No it's for the door lock switch. Also when you are at the junkyard looking, check all Toyota cars of the same year range, usually the small components are the same. Hey squirrel that P/N is missing a digit. Still want a pic of the switch?
