WTF toy rear suspension

just saw this and iv never seen this set up its on an 85 4runner with chev rear springs 
85 toy runner tons 4link front and rear ORIs 42 pitbulls

86 runner some other things  pained orange STOLEN REWARD IF FOUND

70 cj-5 renegade1 buick 231 v-6 t-18 dana20 dana 30,44 32in BFG at

some ones homebuilt drop hangers? Idk looks kinda sketchy.

imagine the first time you come down down hard on a rock with the tubing there.  i guarantee you its not going to be looking like that. my shackles don't even hang down low, and they still take a beating.

Interesting... would plating the outsides help any? Or running a chunk of tube from the top shackle tube to the frame to beef it up some? Looks like it'd work, but what do I know?  :dunno:

All he needs to do is add a tube from where the shackle part is to the frame and it wouldnt be any less strong than anything else. But honestly otherwise i doubt he will have problems.  But i understand that anything that isnt the norm on here is ghetto/sketch/whatever

might as well run Total Chaos 12'' shackles.... that hangs down way too far for my liking but it loooks like it works!
